Interaction Designers and Technical Illustrators Rejoice! There is now a Visio to XAML Exporter

Over at Saveen Reddy's blog, the announcement has went out of his new Visio to XAML export tool. This means you can now take Visio diagrams and export directly to XAML. This is a big step forward for folks who use Visio and want to move their technical diagrams into Expression Blend.

The project has been published on codeplex: http://www.codeplex.com/VisioExportToXAML

Now if the blend could address those shapes as rules for interaction designers who regularly use visio to define rules for interactions like Windows Workflow, but this is a step in that direction as diagrams etc. of workflows can now be contributed as shapes or graphics and technical illustrations can be used from Visio...
