Associates is seeking a qualified candidate for a great opportunity in the West
Michigan area. A chance to get in on the ground floor of creating a major
companies Enterprise Integration Application Framework. A passion for Object
Oriented programming, design patterns, framework design, Java and Eclipse is
what we are looking for in the perfect candidate. The position will allow a
passionate developer to work with Eclipse Framework and Eclipse Plug-In
Architecture to create applications to transform the architecture and
engineering processes!
Working closely with counterparts in the embedded domain, a successful
candidate will have an opportunity to create a set of inter-operable
engineering automation and diagnostic applications. Learning the use of meta-data
to create an architectural schema for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
Working from data warehousing and mining to application development to embedded
real time control systems.
Required Skills or Experience:
*7-10 yrs of Object Oriented application development
*5-7 yrs of extensive Java Development
*Extensive experience in multi-threaded development and debugging
*Complete understanding of object oriented patterns and pattern categories
*Use of Data Models and development of data driven applications
*Object Oriented Framework development
*Experience using Composite Pattern. Graph theory a plus
*Database schema design, SQL, or JDBC
*SOA and Web Services
*XML, XML Schema language, XML parsing and Schema Object Models
*Eclipse Plug-In development, RCP Development
*Pluses include - Embedded real-time control systems
*network protocol driver development
*Developing an IDE for Embedded Control Systems or PLC
*UML to document software design, use cases and system component interaction
