Job description:
Karl Associates is seeking a qualified
candidate for an exciting opportunity. The qualified
candidate will have the following experience or knowledge:
1.) Minimum 5 years Business Intelligence
experience
2.) OWB and Datastage Technologies
3.) Oracle 9i and 10g and PL/SQL database
experience.
4.) Business Objects Experience.
5.) Conflict Resolution.
6.) Ability to work in a team setting.
7.) Ability to work on multiple projects at
once.
8.) Ability to interface with senior
management and partners.
9.) Understanding of requirements
management, test plans, and test execution.
10.) Understanding of project
methodologies.
The right candidate will be able to do the
following in a professional work environment
1.) Contributor to the project estimate.
2.) Review detailed design specifications,
test plans, and user documentation for functional and technical completeness.
3.) Own the Business Intelligence Tech
roadmap and strategic plan.
4.) Contributor to process and support
processes.
5.) Understand Business Intelligence
portfolio of applications.
6.) Serve as liaison with teams, vendors,
business and business team regarding technical issues and approaches.
7.) Provide overall technical leadership
and functional expertise across teams (arrange and lead code reviews, etc.).
8.) Understand and contribute to long-term
product/system vision from the business perspective.
9.) Work with Team Lead to escalate serious
problems to the Software Development Manager.
10.) Complete other team deliverables such
as design, code, and test as appropriate.
