    Web Developer/ Designer

    Qualifications;

    • 4-6 years web design experience in advertising agency, design firm or major e-retailer.
    • Ability to demonstrate branding/design skill experience.
    • Experience in web and interactive design.
    • Excellent proficiency on Mac or PC based platforms, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, HTML, ImageReady, Dreamweaver, Acrobat and image optimization software.
    • Excellent graphic design skills and grasp of design principals and limitations inherent in web design.

    ·         Proficient in JavaScript.

    ·         Adobe Flash and Action scripting 2.0/3.0.

    Responsibilities:

    ·         Coding HTML web pages.

    • Assist Senior Web Designers in all aspects of web production and website development.
    • Assist in website maintenance. Build landing pages, microsites, partnership pages.
    • Assist in creating animated GIFs, animated banner development (GIF/FLASH).
    • Work with creative team to implement design themes throughout web site upon approved templates; help ensure brand and design consistency across all online initiatives. Help with conceptual work.
    • Create and resize banners for online banner campaigns for portal partnerships (i.e. Yahoo, AOL, MSN, etc) with specific attention paid to file size optimization
    • Aid in maintenance and brand sites by optimizing product photography while maintaining image integrity for web delivery.

     

    Preferred:

    • Knowledge of programming in .php/mysql or .NET.
    • Develop and design HTML email blast campaigns.
    • Knowledge of SilverLight.
    • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint.
    • Experience with Microsoft Expressions Web.
    • Knowledge of Quark or InDesign preferred.
